zuzuspetals 78 Posted July 12, 2013 Tried bending' date=' didn't work. Tried fingers down the throat, didn't work. Tried looking at food, made me nauseous but didn't work. I'm just not a puker. I think remembering I am not the same as I used to be and being more careful in the future is going to be my best defense. Am I the only one who feels so normal that you sometimes wonder if the doctor did the surgery right? That is, until this happens? Feeling like this is a confirmation that yes, he DID do it right.[/quote'] Can you take a little walk? That really helps me.
zuzuspetals 78 Posted July 12, 2013 First day of 'real' food! I had two veggie meatballs (1 ounce) with a teaspoon of pesto sauce and a spoonful of red sauce. Delicious! But I ate too fast and felt stuck, walked around and now I'm ok. Gonna start timing my ounces...my nutritionist said 3 oz of Protein should take 20 to 30 minutes. I definitely chowed it too quickly! pookybear 284 Posted July 12, 2013 Made myself a snack. I got bananas the other day, peeled and cut them in half and froze them. Then I'll take one out and dip it in a little Peanut Butter. So yummy. Next time, though, I'll put Popsicle sticks in them so I don't freeze my fingers 1 punkin reacted to this

Dawnolson 85 Posted July 12, 2013 I feel pretty normal as well. I just am not hungry and can't eat alot. But my recovery has been fairly easy compared to lots of people I read on here. I have thrown up twice' date=' and don't plan on that happening again if I can help it. <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> I just wish that my weight would come off quicker.[/quote'] I'm that way as well. Really easy time and can eat pretty much everything EXCEPT steak!! Tried it and it was so gross and fatty that I could only eat 3 bites!! No more steak!! saramichelle 127 Posted July 12, 2013 Ugh me too. I've tried and I just can't find a way that I think it tastes good. I loved it pre surgery now I have an aversion to the chunks:(. So weird
iamworthit 208 Posted July 12, 2013 Ditto. Ditto too! I only eat wild caught fish. I don't do farm raised (catfish, tilapia, etc). They taste muddy to me. Probably because they are farm raised. I live at the beach so access to fresh fish is never hard for me.
OleHippieGal 275 Posted July 12, 2013 I wish i could find a way to get fresh catfish here. I used to live in Mississippi not far from the coast so always had seafood markets close by. But not here.
