JeanaLuvsKisses 110 Posted February 6, 2014 Homemade spaghetti sauce with lean hamburger. Yummy! I love making my own homemade sauce. Even before I had wls I would eat a bowl of sauce as if it were Soup. 1 kata13 reacted to this
terry1118 1,274 Posted February 6, 2014 I made a small spinach salad with edamame, black olives, feta, grape tomatoes, cucumbers, 3 shrimp, and a little balsamic vinegar. I ate all the good stuff and couldn't find room for the spinach. I am done!
planetheather 137 Posted February 6, 2014 I'm stranded in an airport and missing being able to fly my daughter to her college interview tomorrow (so my husband is driving her 8 hours tonight). I'm feeling pretty low, and for the first time since my surgery 5 months ago, my old brain came out with the food addiction cravings. But I had a Nicoise salad for lunch anyway and I'm headed out to buy a large bottle of Water for my Protein Shake for dinner on the flight. My new jeans are already baggy so I just kept grabbing the extra material as I worked past the brain saying it needed something fatty and chocolatey. 2 kata13 and gourmetone reacted to this
gourmetone 394 Posted February 7, 2014 Some days my sleeve Loves me more than I love it. When I try to hang out with my old habits and the fun I use to have with a food party.....my SLEEVE COP puts the brakes on. I'm almost 6 months out and feel like this hasn't worked for me as well as I wished. Lately I haven't been able to work out and have been suffering with a painful pinched nerve in my leg. I do log daily with myfitnesspal and average 900 cals daily. I've been stressed planning a 50th birthday party for my hubby and I think I'm in a slump. Sometimes I forget I had the surgery since I didn't have any problems. Its so cold here in New York and I'm feeling the Winter blues. I'll start to exercise and won't finish on cloudy days. Think I'm a little weight loss depressed. Hoping this will pass soon.
OleHippieGal 275 Posted February 7, 2014 Loving these new Adkins meals from Walmart. Tonight was crust less chicken pot pie. It had big chunks of chicken, broccoli, cauliflower and I think kale, with a little bit of a sauce in it. 360 calories 23 grams of Protein, 5 gram of carb no sugar. It was really good 1 EarthyGoalie reacted to this

2biglamb 65 Posted February 8, 2014 I made some ground turkey stew! Yummy! I had to mash my portion with a fork. It was nice and soft as it had simmered all day in a crock pot.
