Anyone know about green salad? ? I have kaiser and in my binder (nutrition chapter) it says NO salad. I'm wondering why..

My Dr and nut said the same thing no raw vegetables for 6 months, and no white carbs. Maybe it is a healing issue I will ask at my apt.

I was able to eat these things after the 7th week. Every doctor is so different.

I'm with kristy, started salad at 6-7 weeks and it was the best day ever!!!!!!! Have not had any issues with salads, raw veggies, etc. (though eating raw carrots fills me up FAST, it's almost funny how quickly it happens).

White carbs are a different story. White carbs pretty much suck. Whole wheat bread, brown rice, etc i was also allowed around 6-7 weeks. White bread/white rice no more due to nutritional value or lack there of.

I have been eating salad since 5 or 6 weeks, and haven't had any problem except you can't eat much because you have to get the Protein in first. If I do a salad, I put chicken or salmon in it, add some cranberries and nuts!

I sprinkle some unflavored protein in my salad pretty good idea

Tonight i had a lean cuisine meat loaf with whipped potatoes. It filled me up and it was good.

I love that meal. It's so good and filling. Love Lean Cuisine :)

A grilled chicken patty (no bun) from Burger King with 2 slices of Tomato. 130 cals, 3 grams fat, and 17 grams protein! :) plus it had the added bonus of being on the flame grill at BK so it was insanely good! Lol I have to admit though... I bought my fiancé a regular whopper meal and I actually went to the point of HIDING the bag from myself in the back seat of my car so I wouldn't pick at the amazing smelling fries... It worked!! :D

How much of the salad greens were you able to eat w/protein? I love salad but I don't want to waste it. I've seen markets where you can buy a loose field greens...
