It's cheaper than the adult portion & perfect for WLS folks - 4 or 6 piece. I usually save the fruit & milk for later or the next day. Quick, delicious go to meal any day but Sundays. terry1118 1,274 Posted July 28, 2013 I've been having an issue with fish. It's the first thing to ever get stuck so bad that it came back up and I tried some last night and it started to get stuck again. I've only tried cod which is my favorite white fish. But it only goes down if drown it in tarter sauce or ketchup which I don't want to do. Shellfish gives me no issues. Maybe I'll try salmon next just to see if a fattier fish goes down easier. I'll be so bummed if I can't have it anymore. : ( Give it a while and try again. I have no issues with fish - it's actually the only thing I'm not afraid to eat and I do well with it. tuna on the other hand? THAT is my kryptonite! Tuna terrifies me! I bought some smoked salmon w/Cajun spices. Sounds yummy but I'm afraid to try it. Maybe tomorrow...

reason2live 11 Posted July 28, 2013 Those are my Fav. I have a box in my cabinet right now. I can never finish a whole one though. HW:358 DOS:338 CW:275 SD:1/28/13 Where do you purchase these from?
myjoshcait 40 Posted July 28, 2013 Made some mashed potato, with ham, lo fat cheese, chopped parsley, chopped spring onion and some pesto seasoning for taste, made into potato cakes and dry fried in a non stick pan. Had three small ones, so yum for a change, and froze six more for later on. I find I still struggle with hunger, but I am learning it's from thirst, or head hunger, and I'm happy in learning this and becoming more and more aware and able to tell the difference. Juggling the balance of Protein and salad or veggies is one I also struggle with, but I am slowly getting the hang of it. I am not gaining weight but I'm not losing either, I've now lost twenty five kilos since my surgery in December, a mere fifty eight to six pounds. Many of you have lost far more than that and I applaud that, I have fifteen kilos, or thirty five or so pounds left to go, and I believe I will get there. I do find liquids wise, I can handle far more than a cup full at any one time. So I do believe I have stretched my pouch, but when it comes to solids, some days I really do struggle. Does anyone else struggle with solid foods over liquids?
terry1118 1,274 Posted July 28, 2013 It's constant battle for me to manage all my liquids and my food and my Vitamins and my thyroid meds. It's usually more of an issue at work when I get busy because I don't drink enough and then at lunch I can't drink with my food. I try to compensate by drinking more when I'm driving to and from work. If I don't get enough to drink before bed I get up a half hour earlier the next morning to drink and watch the news - it's working well and it's very relaxing before the start of my hectic day. As far as food goes, I'm getting my Protein but not much else. I'm trying to add soft veggies to my meal but can't eat very much after my protein. I'll have one steamed cauliflower or broccolli floret or 6-8 pieces of cut string Beans. I'm only two months out and can't have stringy or fibrous veggies yet. sunshine413 343 Posted July 28, 2013 For those having issues with throwing up what they eat, what do y'all think is the problem? Do you eat too fast? Do you know it's going to come back up? I'm 9...almost 10 months post op and haven't had an issue with vomiting. Luckily. 1 crystal812 reacted to this

Texasmike 25 Posted July 28, 2013 Hard for me to say. I have only vomited once since my surgery on June 11th. I have come close a couple of times always on meat. I may be eating too fast or not chewing good enough for beef. I am really not sure. Sent from my iPad using RNYTalk
LilBoo007 491 Posted July 28, 2013 I must be one of the lucky ones... I have never gotten sick since surgery! If I eat too fast I might feel sick to my stomach or get heartburn when I'm sleeping but that's it
