I've been trying to find flat out bread but I can't find it anywhere. Although I'm trying to avoid the bread aisle maybe I'll have to sneak down there and check it out. The wraps and flat breads are typically kept in a different section at the market I go to.

I found a flax and Fiber flat bread by a company named Arnold's. 5grams Protein and 100 calories. I can make mini pizzas, a "sandwich" or just melt cheese on it. They are good and havent got stuck

Here is the nutrition info. Lots of fiber and Protein. Very little fat and with all the fiber the carbs aren't really bad.

These look great!!! I'm going to try to find them.

Do you know how many carbs? That's what I'm trying to stay away from. I'm a carb addict. Pre surgery I used to make two loaves of sourdough bread a week and eat them both.

Thanks for that. The carbs are a little high for me but I still might look into them.

What about Frenchs crunchy onion chicken? Now granted. I loved this before my surgery...have not had it since...but it is baked....and yummy.

Someone help me with a dinner idea for chicken (:

I've been wanting chicken salad in lettuce wraps. I typically make my chicken salad with a little greek yogurt, mayo, crasians, and celery. I can't have the crasians, the celery, or the lettuce yet but this will be my first meal once I can. It's also good with cut up green apple and red grapes. Yum.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
