Dorian 683 Posted July 19, 2013 I LOVE not getting my monthly. It's the only really good thing about getting older. :-) Me too! But I still get bloated and fingers swell around that time of month. I still have my ovaries.
Dorian 683 Posted July 19, 2013 I had..a piece of bacon broken in bits with Tomato slices and laid between 2 pieces of toast. The most amazing meal I've had since surgery. Tolerated it well and was surprised. I have hardly had any bread yet. Kinda scared! Had a sandwich thin once and a piece of wheat toast and that didnt sit very well. jerz 251 Posted July 19, 2013 2 pieces of honey BBQ chicken wing sections. Oh yeah, last night's meatballs & ravioli didn't go too well on the first try. Weird thing is sometimes ill throw up and go back and eat more and then it will sit good. Anybody experience this or am I just a hardheaded stubborn pregnant lady? I find it impossible to cook for 1 RNY patient with a freaky stomach and a nine year old!!!! I end up throwing so much away. It's such a waste. I need a book on cooking for 1.5! pookybear 284 Posted July 19, 2013 I'm six weeks out and had a bad day at work. The family had food from Sonic and I had one bite of a grilled cheese and one bite of a corn dog. I really started to feel sadness creep in that my old comfort buddy is gone. Am I normal or failing? Perfectly normal. I have days every so often that the need to feel 'normal' overwhelms me and I'll eat things I know I shouldn't. But once I get it out of my system I'm ok again. ajustice 484 Posted July 19, 2013 I have hardly had any bread yet. Kinda scared! Had a sandwich thin once and a piece of wheat toast and that didnt sit very well. It might have been easier cause it was toasted but no pain and no getting stuck..win!!! chicken is my kryptonite. I was so happy about this one meal I was like a little kid at Christmas. Really my 1st trial with bread. Will only be rare occasions.
