jerz 251 Posted February 11, 2013 A small can of tuna mixed with a chopped boiled egg and some light mayo. Late lunch will be 3/4 c Wendy's chili and dinner will be a pot roast cooked in slow cooker for 13 hrs with carrots (I won't eat the potatoes) and maybe a Greek yogurt sometime during the day. And as much Water I can swallow :-)
OleHippieGal 275 Posted February 11, 2013 I made a cup of broccoli and a cup of cauliflower and sprinkle some seasoning on them and steamed them and then fried up a lean angus patty. Was very good

Aimee 17 Posted February 11, 2013 Yeah my first day of "soft mushy food". I had 1/2 cup of chili with 1 tbsp reduced fat shredded cheese and a few oyster crackers. Tasted like heaven compared to all the liquids I have been eating.

Nasty chest pains' date=' shortness of breath and oopps out it came :-( it was so damn tasty too.[/quote'] Try making or eating some gravy with small bites of pot roast. I made tsziki (sp) sauce with cucumbers and greek yogurt...and its high ptotein but helps with dry meat. And yes...slow cooker meat gets to me too.

It was a thin slice i put a little bit of catsup on it so it wasn't dry. The broccoli and cauliflower was the frozen in bag just plain. Not the steamers. I steam my own. It was about a 1/2 a cup for both that i ate. I am 6 weeks out
