Do you eat crackers?

Recommended Posts

My nutritionist told me about pita chaos. The brand is Stacy's. They make different flavors. I eat the simply naked with sea salt. For about ten chips is 3g of Protein, less than 1g of sugar. I put my laughing cow cheese in it. Or have taco meat over 4 or 5 chips for taco salad, except no salad yet. You can buy these in the deli area if grocery stores and also Sam's club has them.

Try cucumber slices as chips! Get the crunch without all the processed junk and carbs.

Ill have a few Water crackers with my cheese or lunch meat. On my plan I am allowed starches/carbs after Protein. I get my protein in so a few crackers are fine to make it easier. Rem. all plans are different. If you are unsure check with your dr or NUT.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
