Is the pain from over eating or is something stuck?

I think from over eating. It's on my upper left side and dead center where my stomac is. I'm 7 months post op

Yes I have had that pain. Moving around helps. It will take time and the pain will go away.

I'm still trying to learn to eat slow...but I can tell when I'm getting full. I experience food getting stuck too often :( ...i think I do better with things that are harder rather than soft cuz I must be more aware of chewing better

Thank you all for your help. It's beginning to ease up now. I did a lot of praying too. Just when I think that maybe my surgery didn't work, I was reminded that yes it did!

Try eating with a baby spoon also ... It helps me with taking smaller bites ... Also seems as if you are eating more because you are going to plate to your mouth more often ...

Funny how our stomach reminds us from time to time. I threw up on Thursday because I did not chew my food good enough. It has been months since I threw up.

Gallbladder has been out for years. I just ate too fast and I don't get a full sensation till a few minutes after I've eaten, I just over did it, and boy did I pay for it. That pain was worse than labor pain. I won't do that again. Thanks all for your help and the tips. I do appreciate it.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
