Wow! I wish I had that. So far, the only thing I can't tolerate is the Jr. Frosty from Wendy's. Everything else works ok.

I was in massive pain yesterday, same thing! I tried eating some scrambled eggs and mins after I finished I could not wait for it to come up! Took about 15mins and then it was out. I think I ate too fast, only had 1 egg. It's horrible! I like the idea of a baby spoon!

I felt your pain, literally! I didn't vomit though, although I was praying I would!

When I went to My Classes they told us when you take a bite remember to put put down your Utensils do not hold it in your hand because u will tend to keep scooping up your food (make a habit of after every bite to PUT DOWN YOUR UTENSILS) and don't Chew to fast, count at least to 20 "well chewed) then Swallow.

Were you able to tolerate eggs before surgery?

I had a naturopath tell me I have a secondary allergy to eggs. I cut them out (eating eggs alone)9mos ago. Pre surgery I had been able to eat baked goods and a few other items that contain eggs. I thought I'd try them out again. It's hard to say if it was just eating to fast, or a combo of an allergy. I also have a few red bumps on my legs and chest that itch. I know it's not bugs, because my husband doesn't have any. Probably an allergy. Makes me sad, I love eggs! It will be a long time before I try them again...do not want to repeat yesterday!

I'm also having a hard time eating today. Had cream of wheat this am and now trying to eat chicken and stars for lunch. I feel like I'm going to get sick again! I had NO idea this would be the journey. But, I'm sure it gets better!

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
