kmiller 146 Posted January 19, 2013 Has anyone overrate since their surgery? I went to Red Lobster tonight, and I over ate. I am in so much friggin pain I can't hardly stand it!
sky 87 Posted January 19, 2013 Is the pain from over eating or is something stuck?
kmiller 146 Posted January 19, 2013 I think from over eating. It's on my upper left side and dead center where my stomac is. I'm 7 months post op
music1618 879 Posted January 19, 2013 Yes I have had that pain. Moving around helps. It will take time and the pain will go away.
kmiller 146 Posted January 19, 2013 It's so severe I don't know how much moving around I can do , 1 Cheryl Barfoot reacted to this
sky 87 Posted January 19, 2013 I'm still trying to learn to eat slow...but I can tell when I'm getting full. I experience food getting stuck too often ...i think I do better with things that are harder rather than soft cuz I must be more aware of chewing better
sky 87 Posted January 19, 2013 I hope it eases up for you
kmiller 146 Posted January 19, 2013 Thank you all for your help. It's beginning to ease up now. I did a lot of praying too. Just when I think that maybe my surgery didn't work, I was reminded that yes it did! 1 sky reacted to this
Ms. Mandy 14 Posted January 19, 2013 Try eating with a baby spoon also ... It helps me with taking smaller bites ... Also seems as if you are eating more because you are going to plate to your mouth more often ...
worm2872 635 Posted January 19, 2013 Glad you are feeling better. It sucks! I always seem to eat my first few bites too fast then wham! Reminder. Ugh.

I threw up on Thursday because I did not chew my food good enough. It has been months since I threw up. 1 BBdoodle reacted to this

Cheryl Barfoot 69 Posted January 19, 2013 do you still have your gall bladder? i had pain like that and sure enough it had to come out!!!
kmiller 146 Posted January 19, 2013 Gallbladder has been out for years. I just ate too fast and I don't get a full sensation till a few minutes after I've eaten, I just over did it, and boy did I pay for it. That pain was worse than labor pain. I won't do that again. Thanks all for your help and the tips. I do appreciate it.
kiwiladydee 402 Posted January 19, 2013 I'm 7 months too and I can not tolerate any bread. If I eat one bite from a sandwich I can't eat for the rest if the day. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk 1 Cheryl Barfoot reacted to this
