I am getting ready to go to church and then come home and bake cookies!!! I spent $65.00 on ingredients last night at the store and I don't feel like I got that much! I was amazed when she told me how much, my how it all adds up!! Well have a great day and if you have time in between everything going on think of my package getting to its rightful owner!!!I think by process of elimination we can all figure out who it is! My kids keep saying that it's weird to have it on a Tuesday... and I think I may agree w/them! It doesn't have the right "feel" to it somehow... <shrug>... oh well... I guess even Tuesday needs to feel special sometimes! More baking & wrapping today... I'm down to the last 6 or so PBs and cookies... finally! Make it a great day, everyone! TracyinKS 7 Posted December 23, 2007 GOOD MORNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today is Charles B-Day and we are having Christmas at my Dads with all the boys and all my sisters Girls (they have 5 total) plus 1 boyfriend....... We got hit with 8.6 inches of snow last night........ makes it really pretty.... luckily no ice this time. Denise I LOVE those 3D sono's!!!!! they are the coolest! Congrats Grandma! Cindy: LOVE YOUR AVATAR and the cruise pics! Haydee: the house and tree look BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!! Michelle: WOW what a dream! Maybe you need to have the calming sounds on while you sleep.. or maybe the sounds of a porno... LOL Pam: Have fun with a full house and remember to TAKE IT EASY! Suzie: How much snow did you guys get? Terry: That is horrible about your bosses daughter, but thank goodness she is ok.... maybe this happened to show that people CAN LIVE through the worst.. a Christmas Miracle... I can relate to no meat........ I am trying to wait it out like Laura though....... I had the worst pb that I've ever had last night.. it wasn't a normal one...... (where it gets stuck above the band) this one the bbq meatball(s) had made it through but once it hit my bottom stomach pouch it didn't sit well and I ended up heaving... painfully heaving..... and for the rest of the night I was in pain.. pain around my port and all in my lower stomach.. it freaked me out, it freaked charles out and I ended up sleeping with a heating pad on it...(feels better today) but I'm having Soup today and thats it. (also need to work on my Water, because like Suzie... I've been getting constipated more and more) but all I had to drink yesterday was coffee and tomatoe soup........ I KNOW that if I had been drinking my Water that I would be 199 today instead of 204.......... OK.. time to get a move on... Have a great day!
Haydee 2 Posted December 23, 2007 Hi there band twin!! Ms. Jen, you're so close to one-derland!! Yay!! Jane - PURPLE POWER! I hope your package makes it on time! Fortunately, or unfortunately, I am having no problems with meat or any other thing. I can eat whatevear. Can't wait until I get my fill right after the new year. Do you gals know if Levi's bootcut 515's run small? I bought a pair last night on clearance and they're awesome but they didn't fit! They're a size 20!! WTF? I'm in a size 18 at Old Navy and at the Gap. Or maybe Old Navy and the Gap run big??
TracyK 3 Posted December 23, 2007 Hi everyone! I am busy busy busy....just wanted to check in and say hello
adorable 1 Posted December 23, 2007 Today hasn't started off that great....first, I ate too many sweets yesterday and I feel like a fat cow today. Then I'm out doing some last minute shopping for Christmas dinner, and my oldest daughter calls me (she's the one who's 6 weeks pregnant) to tell me that she's having some cramping and bleeding. So she comes over and she's pretty much gotten herself hysterical....so I have to calm her down and show her on the internet that during the first trimester that this happens a lot and it doesn't always mean that she's having a miscarriage...This is what the American Pregnancy Association says about bleeding during the first trimester: Vaginal bleeding can occur frequently in the first trimester of pregnancy and may not be a sign of problems. Bleeding can be a sign of miscarriage but does not mean that miscarriage is imminent. Studies show that anywhere from 20-30% of women experience some degree of bleeding in early pregnancy. Approximately half of pregnant women who bleed do not have miscarriages. Approximately 15-20% of all pregnancies result in a miscarriage, and the majority occur during the first 12 weeks. So it's a lot more common than I thought...we did a pregnancy test and it still says that it's positive. I'm hoping for a positive outcome - both her and her boyfriend are pretty upset. I called the doctor and they won't see her because she's not an established patient yet...she had just made her appointment with him and doesn't have an appt until Jan 22nd, so I'm going to call at 8am tomorrow and see if he can get her in to be seen. Anyway, please send Violet power her way....
Teachlady 3 Posted December 24, 2007 Denise, I had cramping and bleeding way back when I was pregnant for the first time. Doctor told me that often happens right about the normal period time. Everything was fine with me and I had a baby boy 32 years ago this month. Prayers going to your daughter that everything turns out fine for her too.

kity 2 Posted December 24, 2007 Merry Almost Christmas Eve Violets~ Denise...purple power heading your way for your daughter. Ms. Jen!...Good to see (or read) you again. Well, here is the update. Meet the Falkers went well...Susanne's parents meeting mine. We had a nice afternoon w/ my brother and nephew, parents and Susanne's parents. The this morning we went to Breakfast. Picture this...everyone orders breakfast, and I order cottage cheese and fruit. Not too obvious, huh? Susanne picked up the check (well, barely...I was able to sneak my credit card to the waitress and nobody saw...then dad and Susanne's dad were arguing over who gets the bill, and the waitress hands it to me and says "she already took care of it"). Anyway...having a hard time eating. I was able to get in 1/2 a piece of pork, and small amount of German noodles w/ a bunch of gravy. It felt great to eat food, since last night I had oatmeal for dinner, while everyone else had German goolash. **SIGH** Wouldn't be so bad if the damn scale would move...but I have faith, (well...in the New Year I am gonna be really pissed if it doesn't move). Tomorrow is the doctor (back) in the morning and the cemetary. We are cleaning out the garage (give me strength). Then the schnitzle (please let me be able to eat some) and then Midnight Mass. I am an Italian Catholic and will always be even if my "lifestyle" doesn't match their rules. I make my own rules...and thank God everyday for bringing Susanne into my life. Violets~ I wish you all the merriest Christmas. If your traveling, be safe. Eat, drink, be merry and love! We are all very blessed and have so much to be thankful for! HoHoHo. And on a closing note...START THINKING OF OUR JANUARY WORKOUT CHALLENGES. I HAVE TO DROP SOME WEIGHT BEFORE I MEET MY VIOLETS IN MAY! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
Jennifur 0 Posted December 24, 2007 just stopping in everyone. another horrible day. We found my 10 year old cat. actually my neighbors dog found him, he was dead under my porch. Poor bella would not come out and just kept trying to wake up fluffy, and put her head on my cat and just sat there with him. it is just the most horrible, saddest thing ever. We got him 10 years ago new years. I have just cried all day. I'm going to have a drink
