adorable 1 Posted May 13, 2007 <a href="http://www.dolliecrave.com/mothersday.shtml"target=_blank">
Whether you're a mother or just like a mother, Happy Mother's Day to you!!!! I bought my mom a new patio set for her back patio, and then I took her to a Mother's Day brunch. I had yogurt w/granola, a little piece of a zucchini frittata, about a tbsp of sausage gravy, some scrambled eggs, about 1 oz of a french toast with sugar free Syrup and about 1/8 of a banana. I just had a bite or two of lots of things, but it was very satisfying!
DynamoMini 1 Posted May 13, 2007 Margi - I wouldn't argue with great results. I admire you. Teach Lady - I wanna be you, now. I am not losing and wasn't going to weigh today, but I did. I have been on this plateau for three weeks. I even exercised an extra day last week. Who knows? The inches are getting better. Congrats to all you Shrinking Violets! I'm impressed Denise that you could do Tracyinks picture board. I am computer challenged. Hugs to all, Happy Mother's Day to all (I'm sure all of us have nutured someone or something)! ShineOn 0 Posted May 14, 2007 Just checking in everyone. I was actually on a cruise (for business not pleasure) but I will say that having my first fill prior was the best thing I did. I ate small portions, hit the gym, and lost 4lbs this week. Yippee - It's really working!!

That's a big accomplishment!!! We went out for dinner tonight and I had a cup of seafood chowder and about 6 bites of my daughter's tossed salad. yummy and filling. It's amazing, isn't it?? kity 2 Posted May 14, 2007 Hi Everyone, Well, as if today didn't suck enough (since mom died 2 years ago, I am not a fan of Mother's Day), my father drove down from Reno and announced to my brother and I that he has a fast spreading cancer:cry :cry. Once he passes, it is ONLY,and I mean only, my brother, his 3 year old son, and I. I have no other family, and I feel very small and alone now. My beautiful partner is supportive and wonderful, and her mom and I are very close. I just feel so sad now. My father was supposed to live forever. I took care of my mother for 8 years, 8 long years w/ her cancer. It was a great time to spend w/ her, but hard...very hard. I didn't date, or go out EVER...just work and school. It knocked the wind out of me. I am almost 40, and I think that is too young to have lost both your parents. I know I am feeling sorry for myself now, but I am devastated. Sara~ Good luck tomorrow! I'll be thinking about you.

Teachlady 3 Posted May 14, 2007 Pam, You're in my thoughts today. It's so sad when we lose our parents. And you're definitely way too young to lose both of yours. Cherish the moments and the memories. They really come in handy, especially on days like Mother's Day and Father's Day. My relationship with my mom was great, but not so much with my dad. He was, for most of my life, a very greedy, self centered person. But the last few years of his life, I took care of him. He was able to stay in an apartment until 10 days before his death when we put him in a care home and for the last few years, I saw a different side of him. It made his passing a time for grieving instead of relief, if you understand what I mean. He never could say "I love you".. but he never, ever said good bye without saying "be careful". Those were his "I love you" words. I'm glad I was able to have the last few years to know a different side of him. Take care of yourself and know you have lots of shoulders in here to lean or cry on.
