melynie 10 Posted January 17, 2013 Maybe someone can answer this for me. Well I'm finishing up all the requirements that had to be completed for my insurance to cover surgery. My husband has to have back surgery soon and I know after my surgery I can't pick up my 2yr old for like a month and my husband can't for longer than that. So my question is does anyone know when everything will expire like the psych visit, seminar, 6 month weight class & dietician visits? I really didn't want to come this far to have do everything all over again but my husband needs his surgery first because of severe pain. I'm healthy and not in pain just overweight
shawna29 60 Posted January 18, 2013 I have gone through all of this pre op testing already twice. (Was denied twice by insurance) I was told I have to start over from scratch now because its been more than two years. Sent with kindness and support for everyone's journey. ladyspl 161 Posted January 18, 2013 My surgery was November 15th, I am a stay at home mom to 3 girls, 6, 4, and at the time 20 months. I was picking the baby up by day 4 and driving by day 5 post op. So you may not be out of commission for a month. I believe most of it, minus the blood work is good for a year, but that would be a question your surgeon and or insurance customer service rep can answer. Hope hubby's surgery goes well!
