What Drain? Catheter?

Okay, I just saw in a post something about a drain.... Does everyone get one? And Catheter??? Yikes, I have recently changed from VSG to RNY (because of insurance reasons). This is something I didn't ask my surgeon... EEEEEW.

catheter for sure. I'm not sure if you'' have to have a drain. is it open or laperoscopic?

I didn't have a catheter. I did have a bulb drain. It was maintained by nurses.
