L Belle 96 Posted January 16, 2013 My first month or so after surgery, my sleep was off. I would wake up more often thru the night. I am 3 months out and sleep pretty well now. I have "upped" (is that a word lol) my workouts now, so I do sleep alot better. I think it just takes your body/brain a while to adjust to everything. KCItalianGirl 24 Posted January 16, 2013 I am experiencing this now. I had surgery on Jan 7. Since then I'm not tired. Force myself to go to bed but wake up at 3 or 4 am....

I'll go back for a repeat study in 6 months or 50# whichever comes first.
lovealways 287 Posted January 28, 2013 YES!! Tomorrow is 2 weeks post-op. I wake up through the night like 5x which I've never done and I can't sem to sleep past 9:30am. I'm usually a big napper, and I can't do that either. Why do you guys think there's such a huge change in sleep after rny? More energy b/c of the weight loss?? Vicki Loichinger 444 Posted January 28, 2013 I didn't sleep well before surgery, always needed to take something to fall asleep. Still do, but now can only sleep about four five hours at most. AND DREAM, the most real dreams you can imagine. Last night I "dreamed" i ate scrambled eggs. Well it was so real I was looking for evidence in the kitchen this morning. I haven't tried eggs since surgery and woke up thinking I had really accomplished something. NAH it was a dream. So I am still scared to try eggs. THE mind is a weird thing.
