ready2smile 138 Posted January 14, 2013 What do you use in place of coffee creamer or what type of coffee creamer do you use? I began Decaf the week before surgery-it was very hard. I only drank about 1c a day, but I'm a creamer lover. I had tried the sugar free-found it gross. Just bought the fat free for later and hope it will taste better and be ok on my tummy. I had decaf for the 1st time since starting my pre-op liquids on Tuesday. I put a singles packet in my chocolate Protein shake today, it was yummy although I only drank about 4oz. Wish they made the coconut creamer in fat free...
kisersassy 369 Posted January 14, 2013 Not sure I will feel after wls' date=' but I am a pretty heavy coffee drinker-a pot a day.How much creamer do you use?[/quote'] I was same way and now unless its like a latte from Starbucks I can't stand the taste of coffee and I use powder creamer and its nasty too now. Your taste buds change a lot!!
MillyBell 36 Posted January 14, 2013 I don't really do coffee anymore but the two times so far that I needed the taste or the warmth I had Decaf and used soy creamer. The one from Trader Joe's is not bad. I saw that Silk brand has a few flavors out for Creamers now too. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk

kisersassy 369 Posted January 14, 2013 Yes mine did. I guess because one hospital coffee is nasty! And when I got home I was drinking Water and Popsicles coffee was last on my list. By the time I craved some the taste had changed on me 1 ready2smile reacted to this

newlife4leah 73 Posted January 14, 2013 I use Decaf Click Protein mixed with one cup decaf coffee and a splash if sugar free Torani Syrup as my Breakfast every morning. Before surgery I the only thing I would have in the mornings were coffee and its helped me feel "normal" post op :-) 2 slowtogo and ready2smile reacted to this
lovealways 287 Posted January 31, 2013 I had coffee today with skim plus milk. Is caffinated coffee ok to drink? Most surgeons say no, but I'm "cheating" and having a cup today because I need the caffeine and I miss it terribly. I will only have 1 a day.
kristy3k 1,133 Posted January 31, 2013 I just picked up coffee again about 2 months ago. I add one scoop of my chocolate Protein Powder to it and that is my breakfast in the morning.
