Apple's1018 7 Posted January 31, 2016 I Live in Durham, NC by Southpoint mall. I'm doing everything through Duke. I haven't had surgery yet. My surgery date scheduled for Feb. 18th. @ Duke Regional hospital. I'm waiting on insurance approval. I'm a little worried, nervous and excited. My emotions are all over the place, but mentally I'm ready. Any weight loss surgeries via Duke? Who was or is the doctor?

Apple's1018 7 Posted April 28, 2016 I had my surgery Monday morning on April 25th. I was really sleepy and groggy at first but then Hours later, that evening I was up walking the hallway. I was released from the hospital the next day. There is some pain, but nothing i didn't expect, the pain is manageable with pain meds. My biggest problem so far is remembering to get my fluids in. The Protein Drinks I liked before surgery, I just barely tolerate now, so my taste has changed. Even Water doesn't taste the same.
