jenbum89 0 Posted January 13, 2013 I am six months post op. On my left side, beside my belly button, I.have this.regular pain where if something touches it or swiped it,it hurts. It also feels like sometimes there is a kick of pain. My doctor said it could be gas but I do not believe that since it is a pain when it is touched. When I press on it it is fine though so I'm just confused. Does anyone have a clue or idea of what this is and what's causing it? I didn't have this until about a month ago fyi. music1618 879 Posted January 13, 2013 My first thought was female pain. Maybe your ovaries.
jenbum89 0 Posted January 13, 2013 It's not low enough for that and for sure a different type of pain. It frustrated and bothers me that I don't know what's causing it and I just hope it isn't something serious. Sent from my ADR6400L using RNYTalk
Butterfly66 63 Posted January 13, 2013 Sounds like nerve pain.
Butterfly66 63 Posted January 13, 2013 Or maybe residual scar tissue?
jenbum89 0 Posted January 13, 2013 Is there anything to worry about then if it is nerve pain or scar tissue? And nerve pain seems like a good answer since it still is numb-like in that spot too. Sent from my ADR6400L using RNYTalk
Butterfly66 63 Posted January 14, 2013 My daughter had surgery on her leg a few years ago and has residual nerve pain. Nothing to worry about, just annoying. She scratches her leg and feels it in her toe! You can try massaging the area and that may help some.
