abbybeep 53 Posted January 13, 2013 I have the Nuva ring. I've been on it or years and love it. With that said, I would be careful with birth control after surgery. I've seen lots of posts about ladies getting pregnant (not intending to) because we become more fertile with weight loss, so just be careful! Good luck! CP3482 55 Posted January 13, 2013 I loved Depo....but I wouldn't recommend it if you want more children in the future...it just takes a little while to get regular again..

hajones5891 133 Posted January 13, 2013 I have the implanon in my arm.....it is good for 3 years. I didn't have a period for 1year up until I had surgery and I bled for 6 weeks after. .....I suppose it was from all the hormonal changes. I am period free once again and love my implanon! xo Hilary
