michelecaples 224 Posted January 20, 2013 I dislike bread. I dont like the texture taste or flavor. Noodles too. They just taste blah. Too many carbs anyway
tcotheran83 11 Posted January 23, 2013 Jan 31st will be my 2 year surgiversary. I have lost a total of 130lbs and still working hard to lose more! I started out weighing 330 and as of this week I weight 199. My goal weight is 150 and it is soo much harder to lose now, but I started keeping a food journal and working out 6 days a week. The surgery has changed my life is so many ways. I am more confident in myself now. I can keep up with my 7 year old son and it feels good to be a good role model for him too. I no longer have diabetes. My high blood pressure still lingers around, but it is nowhere near what it use to be...before surgery I was on 12 different medications and now I am down to 3. It feels good to workout and be able to keep up with my skinny/healthy friends. I love being able to find clothes that fit when I go to any store instead of having to shop in plus size stores. I can cross my legs now and it is comfortable. The only problem I have with myself now is the saggy skin, but in comparison to all of the pros the skin is worth it!! When I get down to goal weight I am thinking of having plastics done. I am very blessed and glad that I had surgery and great job and good luck to everyone!! You can do it!!! music1618 879 Posted February 7, 2013 This surgery has changed my life so much. I am close to getting of my prednisone for my RA. It was the reason I gained so much weight and I will be glad to get rid of it. I am making major life changes as well. I have decided to become a police officer and I am working hard to gain muscle and tone up. My confidence is so high now. It is flattering to have men hit on me and even better when I try on smaller and smaller sizes. However one if the best things is that my husband and I are like newlyweds. He can not keep his hands off if me. It has rekindled a deep love and passion for my husband and our marriage. 1 Kellyk2511 reacted to this
LaurasJourney 23 Posted February 7, 2013 I LOVE life!!!! Having this surgery has given me a second chance and I am taking full advantage of it. I did this to get healthy. I was on three prescription medications for high blood pressure a day and still was running high. Now I'm not on any bp meds and my blood pressure is perfect!!!! I go to the gym everyday and I'm challenging myself in ways I used to be scared of. I'm now a better wife and mother. I thank God for this amazing blessing. 2 jelson123 and Kellyk2511 reacted to this

A huge smile was brought to my face and I was jumping up and down! I am excited to get to my goal...it may take awhile.... and I may start researching some plastic surgery.
