I was on clear liquid for two days, full liquids for two weeks and now soft foods.
lovealways 287 Posted January 19, 2013 How much are we to expect to lose in the first 3-4 weeks? I'm so unbearably thirsty. I've been having 30ccs of either propel, Isopure, crystal light, etc. and it's just NEVER enough. I could care less about food, I jusf want to satisfy this insatiable thirst for plain Water. So weird. I always hated water. Lol wtf?!

They both said don't worry about calories now, just get fluids in and then Protein. I was relieved when they said you are doing better than you think! I need that tattooed on my head!!! 1 lovealways reacted to this

If you did not see his photos you would never believe he had a weight issue. He said he had complications in the beginning, that gradually worked its way out. Also he said never forget your Vitamins.< /p>
bigmike 64 Posted January 19, 2013 Question for my fellow post-opers, any one have superficial pain to their abdomen? I sure do but it is not incisional more like subcutaneous bruising. I am not taking pain meds as it is not to say pain, but more of a soreness. I walk about 2 miles per day, my incisions are well healed, scarring will be minimal. No nausea, tolerating my strained full liquids well. Just wish there was a simple fix for soarness. I may try Arnica gel as that is what a plastic surgeon recommended to my friend post Tummy Tuck.< /p>
ready2smile 138 Posted January 19, 2013 Am I the only one having post-op blues? I'm trying to shake it but I'm only 3 days out..... Nope, you're not alone. Been in a bit of a funk the last two days myself. I'm on 8days post-op. Didn't expect the site and smell of other foods to bother me so much, was really hoping to hate sweets after surgery, but it seems like there's nothing I wouldn't eat if able to. Gonna have to make good habits quickly in the next few stages because I don't even want to think about how I'd react to solids right now if I could have them. Still more swollen in that area as well.

I'm one month post op and feel great. No pains anymore. Just take it easy and try to heal. You'll look back in a month and feel so much better. Good luck! Frogjlr 57 Posted January 19, 2013 Hello everyone hope yawll are doing great.. I'm 12 days out and doing OK. I've had a couple of days were I wasn't getting enough Protein and that made me feel like CRAP. I'm on a liquid diet, although I can have Beans and stuff like that. I struggle with getting all my liquids I'm still. I'm working out on a elliptical 2/3 times a day and have lost 20LBS..... it's crazy to me. But now o find myself getting mad at my husband and son. I'm starting to think about food again, tired of baby food and just bland food in general. So my husband and son go out to eat almost every night and I'm getting pissed. I'm like you see me starting to struggle with the food I have to eat and then you tell me your going to McDonald's, taco bell and things like that. I'm mad. Is this normal? 1 ready2smile reacted to this
tzbandtobypass 48 Posted January 19, 2013 Anyone have any good ideas for Protein? I'm bored with the clears and still have more than a week to go on them. I've been using the pre-mixed drinks and powder ones' date=' sipping on broth, eating popsicles, taking in some sugar free Jello and watered down pudding. So much of it seems dessert-like, and I want to try to stay away from that as much as possible.[/quote'] Have you tried Isopure? It is more like a bottle of flavored water than a Protein Drink. In the past I always got the chocolate Protein Drinks, but I've fallen in love with the grape frost isopure following my surgery on Monday. They have me my first bottle in the hospital and I immediately hopped on to Amazon and had some delivered to my house. The cool thing I have found with the isopure is that I can mix it with grape propel Water and just drink it all day. It has made it so easy to get the proper liquids and protein in. I'm quickly learning that as much as we want this surgery to cure our desire for the "bad" foods, it just doesn't always happen and temptation is a battle we'll have to continue to fight. After having homemade pizza my hb ate a strawberry toaster strudel in front of me last night. I had to again retreat upstairs to my room because the smell really got to me, I wanted to eat it, AND i wanted to smash it in his piehole, lol! He didn't understand when later I told him it was insensitive to have it in front of me after I'd specifically stated I was struggling throughout the day. This can be really trying and the need for support and understanding is huge, (this why I'm so thankful for you all) but as my hb reminded me last night-he doesn't know what's bothering me unless I tell him. (Dang and I thought I married a mind reader)! 2 PianoMom and Frogjlr reacted to this

Where else do they sell it?
