hajones5891 133 Posted January 9, 2013 It makes me sick to see my husband scarf down greasy cheese burgers, fries, and soda all the time. Its not that I am jealous, I just think about all the grease, carbs, and fat! I think the most sad part is that I was right there with him 3 mo ago! Anyone else feeling this way? xo Hilary 3 mizzlaw, Akc313 and tlynn4love reacted to this
worm2872 635 Posted January 9, 2013 I just can't believe how much I ate even when I was watching my intake. It stuns me to watch anyone eat now. I can't believe I was there too. 2 tlynn4love and LovinIt reacted to this

What I really can't believe is the fact that 8 months ago I was doing the same thing.
maria pepe 29 Posted January 9, 2013 Right there with you. I am both amazed and disgusted watching others eat, knowing that used to be me.

However if something is greasy and they are ingaling it, it is kinda gross.

And it drives me nuts the foods that she orders! 2 double cheeseburgers, large fries, 3 Cookies.. that's a meal at least 3x a week. And then talks about how the Dr raised her diabetic meds. I bite my tongue.. but I couldn't go to lunch and watch her eat like that. So now I bring my lunch and go to the gym. I feel terrible being so negative about what she eats! BBdoodle 483 Posted January 9, 2013 Sometimes it bothers me because I once looked like that...stuffing my face with high fat content foods etc. etc. You have to have it within you to want to eat healthy !! 1 Jilllorraine reacted to this

MillyBell 36 Posted January 9, 2013 Are we in church because I feel like jumping up and saying, "Amen!" I am grossed out by some of the things people eat. My BFF eats out for every meal and she's ALWAYS hungry. It bothered me before because its such a waste of money but now all I think about is how unhealthy it is. I wish she would eat before we hang out but of course not. We end up stopping and some fast food joint and I'm like "ick. No, thank you!" mom2lucky (suznc) 81 Posted January 10, 2013 One of the ladies I eat lunch with each day is 6 years post WLS & I caught myself watching her stuff herself with carbs. She complains about regaining 50 lbs & grazes on pretzels all day & very little Protein. She has nutrient deficiency issues too. Wonder why? It takes me forever at the store due to label reading too. Tonight I did something i never would have done before surgery. I roasted chickpeas! Ok , I burned them but the 4 that survived were actually good. I'll try them again and keep a closer watch next time lol.
msixkiller 96 Posted January 10, 2013 Along these lines...I get stressed out watching people at the grocery store putting all kinds of junk to be bought and then put Diet Coke up there. They r overweight. I want to say let me fix that for you. What are they thinking?
