tbaby 27 Posted February 26, 2013 No' date=' have them sign a letter saying you stay with them and pay __ towards ur cost of living there. Do not list them as part of your household, since they aren't dependents. Make sure u apply for unemployment when eligible, but apply for health insurance first and list unemployed, no income due to layoff... Hw 245; Pre-Op(RNY) 225.6; Surg Date 2/26; GW 145[/quote'] I will def do that. Thank you so much!!

Cecilia 201 Posted February 26, 2013 Well I'm right there with all of y'all ....surgery Wednesday 27th... Thought of backing at sooosny times ... But for now it's on...bags are packed and nervous as can be.... I wish the best to everyone who has surgery this week. Keep us up to date on your process. Ok, tomorrow morning at 10:00am, have to leave house at 5:00am because of rush hour traffic in Boston. Really nervous. All prayers excepted. Just hoping my bad trachea holds out long enough don't want to wake up on a vent. Best wishes to both of you!!!
Cecilia 201 Posted February 26, 2013 So my arrival time is for 11:30 A.M, I am so nervous.... I'm finishing up some laundry and cleaning, so when I come home my house is nice and clean. Today has been somewhat of a tough day, I am doing the liquid diet and I have been craving food. Lol. Like anything at all. I've been strong and had only my Clear liquids, chicken broth, Water, sugar free juices. But it has been tough, after I get everything ready, off to bed.I just want to say Good luck to everyone who is having your surgery tomorrow and everyone else who is having within the next week. Its been a long journey but we're almost there. Is white wine a clear liquid? I wish I'd had one last glass of wine before surgery... Best of luck to you!!! Surgery was today. All went well. I am now on the, loser bench. Yippy Congratulations and welcome back!!! Well have to be at the hospital by 7am surgery is at 9am in the morning.it's almost here!! Wishing you the very best!!! Have to be there at 530a myself and Surg is at 730. Done get what 2 hr window is for??? :-) makes me more anxious. I've had a few surgeries before, and there's loads of admission paperwork, changing into a gown, getting your IV started, and waiting for the OR to be available and cleaned from the previous patient. I was told I could go in even later if the surgery ahead of me ran long due to complications, or if an emergency came in and the OR was needed for them first. Does this help to reassure you? Chin up! All will be well!

If you mean after the surgery, I think most hospitals step you down. Right out of surgery you're in the PACU (post-anesthesia care unit) until you wake up and they determine you're stable. From there you go to a regular hospital floor. I shared a room with a lady that did nothing but sigh and complain and talk to people on the phone all day! And my surgeon requires a private room therefore it's no additional charge to the patient....I could kiss his feet.
