Best wishes to all those up at bat this week. Remember the first night is the worst, but it gets better everyday. Stay on top of your pain. Walk when you don't want to. Ask for simple comfort measures when you need them.

Hope everything goes well. The food thing is when you wake up you won't be hungry!!! Keep up on pain and nausea meds. Keep us updated.

Good luck everything will go fine. God is with you. And don't worry those images will go away as soon as you see your weight going down. I'm a week post op and I've lost a total of 18 pounds with one week pre-op and one week after surgery. And I don't think about food like that anymore. I'm on liquid diets for another week and all I think about is planning my healthy meals once I get to purée stage. be strong and again good luck.
