SammiSiren 11 Posted January 8, 2013 Yesterday was my surgery and it went really well, the surgeon was in and out in 45 minutes and there were no complications. My stomach is sore but I'm not really nauseous. I've been taking walks around the hospital and I just started my sips of Water. Today I meet with my surgeon to discuss after care, my psychologist and my dietician, just for an overview. I can't wait to go home and lay with my kitty. 1 tlynn4love reacted to this

SammiSiren 11 Posted January 8, 2013 What should I do for exercising when I get home? I thought 30 min on my treadmill would be ok
Vicki Loichinger 444 Posted January 8, 2013 What should I do for exercising when I get home? I thought 30 min on my treadmill would be ok NO NO NO at least i don't think so, just walk around inside the house every hour or so, increasing the time. Please don't jump on the treadmill right away. You have some healing to do. Ask your doc but I really think he will say the same thing. In a couple of weeks he may say you can start the treadmill. Then again I could be all wrong.
Stephanie 49 Posted January 8, 2013 There is nothing wrong with short slow walks on your treadmill. When I got home from my surgery I did little 5-10 min walks on my treadmill every hour. I used on the slowest speed I could. Helped with gas. Stephanie 2 tlynn4love and Vicki Loichinger reacted to this
