mullberry7 5 Posted December 31, 2012 Hello. I have been lurking for a couple of months now and found it very supportive to read I'm not the only one. My problem as of late is nothing tastes good. Therefore I don't want to eat anything. I just don't know what to do!! My surgery was October 9 2012 and I have lost 52lbs. Anyone else experience this? CP3482 55 Posted December 31, 2012 Did this just start or has this been an issue right after surgery?

Rhonda 6 Posted December 31, 2012 My husband is going through the same thing. I'm looking forward to seeing if this is a phase or not. I've not had this problem. There have been things that didn't agree with me but the only thing that I wanted nothing to do with was BBQ and I'm ok with that now as long as it is not to sweet. He's 10 months out and 180 down and I'm 6 months out and down a little over 100 pounds.

theby_88 72 Posted January 1, 2013 I have had this issue also and sometimes it comes and goes. I am 2 1/2 months out. I have heard it will pass and it's just something that we go through but you have to also remember we don't get to eat the things we have always loved so food isn't "fun" anymore. At least that is what I have found. I don't want to eat if it doesn't taste yummy and make me happy and the foods that we eat aren't triggering the happy part in my brain so I don't want it.. That has been hard for me to get use to and I don't know if I ever will but that is what I have found to be my issue. I think it will pass if it's just about the food not the happy connection you have with it. Just my opinion.
