Hummmm. I really dont have one set regiman. It took me a while to understand that I cannot eat the way I use to. Ive tried to run to the type of foods that brought me confort in the past' date=' but that doesnt work anymore. It took me 4 months to start working out, because I wasnt really motivated and because I'm currently unemployed I cant afford a gym membership. Now I go walking at the park at least 4days a week. I've turned to youtube to show me the proper way to do certain excerises at the park. I dont keep an accurate count on how many miles I walk, i just do it and its a stress reliever for me. I refuse to buy a scale because I dont want to become obsessed with it. I weigh my self twice a month at the Dr. office. I measure my weightloss success when I do things that I havent done in years, like polishing my toenails or putting on my socks and shoes with ease. I know i have along to go, Im content with the progress I ve made so far.[/quote']

And you should be because you look absolutely amazing! I said that I won't buy a scale either because I know I will be obsessed lol and I cant afford a gym membership at the time either so it's sort of a reliefs knowing that walking played a major role bc that's what I plan to do too. I'm trying to wean myself off my fave foods so that hopefully it won't be as hard but thanks a million and I hope to be as successful as you are once I have my surgery!!!

You look amazing! And you must feel amazing!

You should be VERY proud of yourself!!

Walking is so good for the soul and body. I manage to get out at 6 in the morning, for 45 minutes... And i feel like its quality time with me.

Thank you. :-)

I try to get in about an hr. Of excerise 3 to 4 times a week. Its therapeutic for me. Before the surgery when i used to walk my back would feel as if its about to break , now i dont have that problem at all. My only regret is that I didnt do the surgery sooner.

You look great! I'm loving the sexy black dress! I also like the idea of no scale but I know me I'm going to want to way myself every couple of weeks. Maybe I'll use my wii fit since it has the scale on it.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
