nancybrn 1 Posted December 27, 2012 Hi everyone, just want to say how much I appreciate the posts. I am now 2 weeks post op and I met my first goal. I am at 300lbs. (22 lbs. down since prior to surgery!!!) Only 120 lbs more , but if it goes this easy I am hoping I will be an improved version of myself, healthier and better looking. I finished my antibiotics today, the skin infection is healing up, still reddened. Thank you

I'm 5 months post op and I have found that before surgery I eat to much and gained weight now I have to eat to lose weight ( go figure). There will be times when the scale won't move for days or weeks but that does not mean your body is not changing. Do what the doctors say and you will be fine My only other bit if wisdom I can bestow is join myfitnesspal.com and track everything you eat or drink it does help. And stay off the scale only weight your self 1 time a week. The reason being if you don't see the scale moving you may stop eating and that's not good. That only puts your body into starvation mode and your body holds on to what ever you eat and will use muscle for energy instead of fat. Take your Protein exercise and best of all enjoy the new you your going to love it 2 nancybrn and snow25 reacted to this

For instance, this am I had a 1/2 scrambled egg, but the only choice is 1 scrambled egg. Just curious. 1 nancybrn reacted to this
