jordynvb 7 Posted January 7, 2013 at this point i cant even get food down. gotta see my dr this week This was happening to me it was about 7 weeks after my surgery... They ended up putting me back in the hospital the opening for my throat to my pouch had closed completely they said the only open space for foot and Water to flow was the size of the tip of a ball point pen... I couldn't even get water down it was miserable! I had waited a week like this before even telling my dr... So therefore I was do dehydrated that they couldn't even put an Iv in me they tried 7 times and finally got one in my shoulder it was the worst pain ever my dr had told me after placing a stent inside me to keep it open (it will be there for the ret of my life ;/ ) that if I had waited about 2 more days I would have probably died from no food or water what so ever it's very scary hopefully urs isn't as bad as mine was best of luck Jordyn
