Fatigue Decreasing; Drain is Gone

Recommended Posts

Got rid of my drain today. It did hurt to have the drain removed but it was not agony. The pain was brief. I immediately felt relief. I had to wear the drain for 2.5 weeks and it was a major source of pain and muscle spasms. I also notice that my fatigue is decreasing. I definitely am gaining strength ad energy. One new challenge is Constipation.< /p>

As you heal each day you will get better... it take a long time to feel 100% Was there a reason why your tube had to stay in so long? Mine was taken out on the 2nd day. It hurt like heck but only for a second. With regard to the consiptation....just remember you are not eating tons of food so it will take a while for you to poop because there is nothing to poop out = LOL, It took me about 7 days for my first poop. Your body will will regulate it self in time.

I had to keep the drain in because of bleeding - I bled for two weeks and according to the surgeon the blood needs to be drained out.

Oh ok... I was just curious... that must have been a pain having the drain in sooooo long :(

you must have lost blood during.the surgery that is what the drains are for. That is not unusual but having drains that long is unusual

The drain was very painful for me. I had muscle spasms when walking. As soon as the drain was removed the muscle spasms stopped. Drain removal was painful because it had been in for so long. But now it's out and I feel much better.

The drain truly caused pain - probably because it was in for so long. I had to go through airport security 4 times with that drain (but everything went smoothly). I am so happy to no longer have it. Truly liberating!

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
