She had a very bad weight problem and was determined to control her. One way he would control her is that he would buy several gallons of ice cream and many boxes of chocolate candy to feed her addition, keep her morbidly obese and completely dependent. It was a horrible home environment to grow up in. All i can say is that my sister and i begged our mother to divorce our father but he would always threaten to keep her in poverty. We become more vulnerable to supposed "love ones" and some of those "loved ones" are manipulators. It was a very bad environment. My only advice is to free yourself from that control and manipulation. Wishing you the greatest of success in your weight loss journey!
TinyMamiOf3kids 1,280 Posted December 17, 2012 He's scared. He's afraid you will find someone else with the weight your losing. I believe this is true. He keeps saying don't get too skinny. What's too skinny? I'm sure my body will come to the end.

My husband has changed a lot during the last 6 months of my surgery. He was the worst of the worst. Now he feels for some reason the one day we have left over suddenly I'm too thin so I don't have to cook. He says thinks to annoy me & bother me but I'm sure he is just mad maybe wanting some rice & Beans. He should open his mouth & tell me what he wants so I can make instead of bitching about it. Hey I'm gonna tell him that today.

TinyMamiOf3kids 1,280 Posted December 17, 2012 Thats abuse plain and simple. I wish you the best but no one deserves that! Yes it is verbal abuse. I guess he needs to learn to communicate with me more instead of expecting what idk he wants. We are in family therapy but should go back to marriage counseling when we are done in February. Then I should go for solo therapy I been feeling sad might be depress I was so freaken happy. I'm going nuts.
