doris puyarena 0 Posted December 15, 2012 Hello everyone, I'm new to this page but had my RNY 5 years ago. Unfortunately I've gained most of the weight back. I'm on a mission though to get healthy again. Any advice on getting back on track?. I will be starting over with liquids this week and I've done that before with success but just don't have that fear or willpower like I did post op.

TinyMamiOf3kids 1,280 Posted December 15, 2012 Welcome to the group. Do you have a dietician? Do you still see your surgeon yearly for check up? What do they tell you? I'm 6 months post up. Never gain 1lb back I'm down 84lbs. I try to eat as healthy as possible. I'm lacking on exercise which I should kick my own ass for. Have you done the pouch test? I heard it works. doris puyarena 0 Posted December 15, 2012 Good luck to you !!!! I am curious..... What caused you to gain most of your weight back ??? I would like to blame it on birth control pills but I had it to do with it too! My journey post op never included exercise... First no no! I started snacking on crackers, chips and popcorn. although I drank diet soda, soda is a no no! It will stretch your pouch... Them eating junk becomes regular so in the last year or two I've gained 50-70 pounds.
