Ellody 9 Posted December 14, 2012 It's different for everyone. They went in twice. Second time to make sure everything was out. I couldn't walk for a few weeks. Had the runs. Good luck

BBdoodle 483 Posted December 14, 2012 I had RNY first then about 6 wks after RNY I had a really bad gall bladder attack. I did not know what it was and thought I was having a heart attack. I called my surgeon and they said I may have gall stones, I went for a ultrasound and sure enough I had many many stones. So 10 wks after RNY I was under the knife again for stones. It took me longer to bounce back from GB surgery than the RNY - go figure. If I knew about GB before the RNY I would have insisted on a ultrasound on the GB BEFORE RNY for sure. I am almost 9 months post op now and feeling GREAT !!!
