B14K3 1 Posted December 12, 2012 I have my surgery on the 17th of this month! My surgeon is Dr. Vierra in Monterey California. I have a meeting with a nurse tomorrow to get my exact time and everything. I'm super excited! I'm 20 years old and my Doctor recommend I join a forum so here I am! I'm a college student and I'm hoping to get into the nursing program soon. Within a year or two. My mother, two aunts, my grandpa, and two of my cousins have had the gastric bypass so I have a lot of support at home. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

And hopefully by taking this step so young you can avoid many of the weight related illnesses that plague most of us. Ask questions, share the experiences of your family members as you have seen them go through it This place is a wealth of information and a sanctuary of support.
