Wendy's chili is really good :) and I do agree everything in moderation. I just need to work on my moderation! I need to learn how food is fuel!

Sometimes if I am really having.a hungry day I can eat a lot, but the next day bbarely a few bites. It all evens out

I have noticed I don't get hungry but have eating triggers. If I'm busy I have to remind myself to eat. If I'm just hanging out watching tv I want to eat. If I'm out shopping I want Starbucks in my hand. If I fix a snack for my daughter I want to eat food food. I need to work on a lot. It's a work in progress daily. I am just so hard on myself.... But the agony comes after I've eaten more than I should have, faster than I should have, or something I should have not.

We all make mistakes. Fix yourself a healthy snack before fixing anyone else something. Carry Water to the mall.....

      Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
      What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
