jnygrl 28 Posted December 4, 2012 I have noticed that I have lost weight especially in my upper legs. Does anyone know of a cream for firming and stretch marks?
worm2872 635 Posted December 4, 2012 Nivea is pretty good for firming and Palmers oil for stretch marks. It's made for pregnant bellies. :-). The firming creams only help a little but I noticed my skin was less wrinkly but still sagging. Sigh.

karenmartin 170 Posted December 5, 2012 Not to be the sad news bringer... But no amount of cream, workouts, drinking Water, oils or massages are going to bring sagging skin back... Those work great on people who have gained 50 lbs or less. Anymore than that and you're really just wasting your money. I say save your money for cosmetic surgery. Think of it this way: you open a package of balloons. They're small and crisp and tight. You start to blow air into the tight balloon. It stretches and stretches and stretches. When you let the air out the balloon shrinks but it doesn't go back to that tight small balloon you first blew up. ... Are you following here... I just don't want anyone to be sad and disappointed when you don't end up with that tight beach body you're dreaming of. You'll look wonderful and feel amazing. But creams just don't work for tightening that amount of loose skin. Take it from me. I lost 185 lbs and 5 years later after spending hundreds of dollars on creams and lotions, drinking tons of water and actually spending another couple hundred dollars on a personal trainer...all the money and years later I could see a small difference. I could feel my tighter muscles.. But it was all under my flapping skin... Oh oh and also I had my surgery done when I was 22. No matter how young you are if you lose a giant amount of weight your skin is not bouncing back.

If I lose 100 percent of my excess it will be an 80 to 90 lb loss and im going to try to avoid surgery

Genetics is the first way to know, u also have to do weights a lot bc of the amount of muscle were losing so fast. Drinking water and keeping ur skin moistened. Of course this works best before u get loose skin but may help some if u already have it. 1 kristy3k reacted to this

If lotion will make ppl feel great & smell good I'm all for it but if you think your skin will bounce back it won't. I'm going to be 34 tomorrow. My family have the good genetics we don't age or get wrinkle before time. I had surgery 6 months ago. I use firming lotion but you think the crap is working nope!!! I'm saving my money for plastic surgery. Plastic surgery isn't for everyone it's expensive but I rather do it here in NYC then go out of the country & be butcher or die. Here I have a chance of staying alive & the surgeon is a friend of the surgeon who did my gastric bypass. If lotion makes you feel good do it but take it from me it does nada! If I think about it I need a complete body lift but would have to win the lottery 1st. I'm doing one thing at a time. In due time I will have the body I want. 1 karenmartin reacted to this
