You body is going thru some major adjustments right now, you can't expect to loose 19 lbs every single week. You will lose higher numbers at first then you will level off. I am almost 9 months post op, there was a period of time from August until October where I did not lose any weight what so ever. I freaked out a bit but then increased my workout time and intensity and in a few weeks I started losing again. In lots of people it will take almost a year to get the weight off it does not happen over night. It is a process that YOU have to work with, surgery, diet, exercise and commitment, surgery alone will not get you there !!!

Your 19 lbs loss is great :) Once you get into a routine you will see a steady weekly loss of anywhere from 1 lbs to 3 or 4. It all depends on how much you have to lose... I believe RNY you will lose 70-80% of your weight where the band and sleeve is something like 60% only.

I had a plateau at about week 3 and stayed at the same weight for almost 2 weeks I wanted to cry and thought I did the surgery for nothing and I'm not gunna lose anymore, then bam started losing again and I hadn't changed a thing. Don't worry you will lose weight with time as long as your eating and drinking everything your suppose to and will lose even faster if you exercise.

I find that the more Protein I have and the more intense the exercise the more weight I lose

So make sure you're getting all your Protein and exercise
