kisersassy 369 Posted December 1, 2012 I am not sure if I had this problem or not as I always drank and ate milk products then about 2 and half weeks after surgery I made a Protein Shake with same powder and milk I had day before and got dumping syndrome. so I now drink lactaid milk. a lot of people do become lactose intolerant after surgery

bakawaka 108 Posted December 13, 2012 Dairy (post op) do not at all agree with my new digestive system. It causes severe flatulence as bloating. No more cheese for me. I am able to put a little bit of skim milk in coffee but that's it. From now on, I will have to use soy-based products and almond milk.
