droppingitlikeitshot75 35 Posted November 28, 2012 Anybody that revised from band to rny feel like or thought that you would have the somewhat the same kind of restriction? I asked surgeon about this at follow up and he said it wouldn't be the same. I'm 5 weeks out and eating regular foods now but I feel like I'm eating way too much at times. I'm measuring everything and trying to keep everything to a minimum. In my manual from Nut some stuff have 2 T servings of this or that and I can eat more than that. Today I wanted to eat every hour. I'm tolerating everything so far. I haven't had any stuck episodes on anything so far except last Friday I ate something that I shouldn't have and way too much of it too fast because I let myself get very hungry. I had some nachos with chilli. I dumped and I believe i got some stuck also. Just wondering.

NurseTAB 65 Posted November 30, 2012 I am a band to RNY, almost 3 months out and had no restriction with my band and with the RNY I do. I have had all the fun stuff like dumping and foamies and have eaten to much and payed for it. I was worried that the RNY wouldn't work for me since the lap band didn't but was wrong its working great 51 pounds down. 1 Vicki Loichinger reacted to this
Vicki Loichinger 444 Posted November 30, 2012 great news NurseTab. that is awesome. well not the foamies, but the weight loss. Oh I do remember the foamies back in the early days of banding.
droppingitlikeitshot75 35 Posted December 5, 2012 I think my cravings and wanting to eat more were due to taking progesterone pills to induce a cycle. Also stressing over the semester end; finals, papers, etc. Then the restriction is based on what I eat, the consistency of eat and how I chew it.
