WheatThin 24 Posted January 31, 2013 Having a hard time getting my fluids in let alone anything else. Happy to be home though. At least I got some good sleep last night. I too am having trouble getting anything down. I literally have to force myself to eat. It is such a strange feeling for me to feel full and satisfied after only three to four bites. I am now two days post-op and still a little sore and uncomfortable, but it's nothing unbearable. I still haven't pooped yet though. I can poot like nobody's business I just can't poop. Anyone else having or have had this problem?
one4ozzie 434 Posted January 31, 2013 Good luck and prayers for all of you! Can you guys read the last post that I started and please give me your input. Thanks Just get as much of it at you can, my only advice. I didn't have to take and clean my system before RNY. Just before my surgery on Tuesday. Good luck. I think I finally pooped 3-4 days post-op & was so happy. Lol It's weird,I know, because I used to poop like 3 times a day...probably because I ate so much! I still have problems pooping every now & then. I usually go 3 days between bm's. I get super excited when I go though because I loose more weight. I had two JP drains and when they puled the one from the left side I thought I was going to die. My program has us in the hospital for 3-4 days so we get Jp's out and you feel much better prior to discharge. I was told that alot of the equipment goes throught the left side so that side if often more tender. Like I said this is still my problem side and I had surgery the 24. Hope you feel better...
