lisamcgowin 60 Posted December 12, 2012 So I'm a little shaken up. Surgery is tomorrow' date=' was on Clear Liquids today and had to drink that magnesium citrate to clear my bowels. After that I wasn't feeling well so I laid down. My 7 year old comes in screaming that the three year old was bleeding and dad couldn't get it to stop. I jumped up, realized his teeth were displaced and we rushed him to the dentist where they did emergency oral surgery to remove two teeth. It was a brutal surgery since they were still attached to the bone... Lots of blood.Anyways, as soon as the last suture was placed, I passed smooth out in the office, came to and puked my guts up. Also my stool is bright red, but that citrate drink was red. Do y'all think I'm ok to have surgery tomorrow?[/quote'] Yes. Stool is red bc of the drink. So sorry for your son. Hope he gets well soon and good luck to you tomorrow! Lisa :-) surgery date: Dec. 4th, 2012
lisamcgowin 60 Posted December 12, 2012 Well I've known her for a few years and I only heard about this since I told her about me having the surgery she was trying to discourage me from having it...I'm only 6 days post op and don't really have anyone else to talk to..and since my surgery she doesn't really talk to me anymore..if I tell her about the pain I'm in..she tells me quit whinning about it..I choose to do it..I don't know what I did its seems like I lost my best friend Our surgery is impossible to be done in office! She isn't your friend. She is jealous bc you are getting healthy and she isn't. You can talk to us. :-) Lisa :-) surgery date: Dec. 4th, 2012

lolawaiting 83 Posted December 12, 2012 I'm so nervous!! Surgery is 12/29. I went to my pcp today- I've been sick for awhile a cough, then laryngitis. He said its actually bronchitis and put me on strong antibiotics. He said I should be okay for surgery by the 29th, but I'm afraid my surgeon is going to take one look at me on Friday at my preop appt and say no way I'm a teacher so I have two weeks off. If I don't do surgery now I won't have a chance till march

I would take mucinex in addition to the antibiotic.

Yes the reason your stool is red is the red citrate you drank the reason you passed out is you were stressed already then got woke up to a horrific experience which when was all said and done everything you are stressing over hit you like a ton of bricks and was just alittle much at one time so take a deep breathe and look to the future goal you should come through this just fine....
