missimpatient 3 Posted January 30, 2013 I need to find a new Protein Shake I can tolerate. I have been drinking the Premier Protein shakes from costco because they don't make me sick. Would anyone like to share what brand and type of Protein Shakes has worked for you? Maybe I can try them instead of drinking the same thing everyday. ginsyn76 51 Posted January 30, 2013 I'm using body fortress whey from Walmart. It's under 20$ and 26 gm per scoop. I mix it with skim milk and its decent I've got used to it I guess. I have it in chocolate but I'm tired of that all the time so I'm going to get vanilla and a couple sugar free syrups and maybe some fruit and make smoothies.< /p>

CP3482 55 Posted January 30, 2013 Oh no. Let us know how you are doing. Sorry for your pain. Gen :-) 12/15/12 The doc said it sounds like I pulled a muscle. I'm not running any fever and I'm not expelling any blood of any kind. The pain isn't constant, but it's there. Ugh...I feel like such a dork....All this crying for a pulled muscle! You can try this recipe with the vanilla premier Protein shake. Take brewed Decaf coffee and poor your shake into it. Shake real good and then pour over ice. I poor about 6 ounces over ice at a time. You can also add Peanut Butter to the chocolate one and blend with ice in blender
beans 33 Posted January 30, 2013 asking the december and january post-op groups: have any of you had trouble with bloody noses? i got one last night while getting sick and i've neever had one before. i'd opened a can of low fat hormel turkey chili' date=' added a little greek yogurt and cheese to it, took about three bites and was immediately sick. i know i took the 1st two bites too quickly (i'd waited too long to eat and was hungry), i didn't chew it enough and paid for it. not much more than phlem, air and bubbles came up, but the runny nose started in instantly and so did the blood. it took a little longer to stop and i still have the runny nose. not sure if i'm fighting a cold or it's a sign of something else. i've had turkey since surgery, beef and cheese as well. the only thing different was the greek yogurt. i'm not really questioning the food, it's more the bloody and runny nose. -oh, it also started me on a stupid crying jag. felt like a big baby <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />[/quote'] I have had that happen to me. I think it is just pressure. Gina Surgery date Dec. 10th

Taking zolphram too cuz nausea overcomes me when I try to walk. Oh well it's over, now have to walk thru the pain when I can.
