lmcgloon 127 Posted January 16, 2013 Question: I am on pureed/soft foods. I have been eating tuna and canned chicken w a little bit of mayo to keep it moist. Think it is ok to add some hard boiled egg?? Yes, lots of people eat egg salad or chicken/tuna salad. Just use light mayo You can also have scrambled eggs 1 MyTimeToLose reacted to this

PSKKJM 23 Posted January 16, 2013 Milk choices? I have been using Silk Lite Milk, but don't like it by itself. What other milk products have other people used. I would like to be closer to milk flavor. PSKKJM. DOS 12/31/

thisshizzisbananas 97 Posted January 16, 2013 Hey all, wondering how you guys are doing in terms of calories each day? I'm about a month post-op and was very hungry today. Been up since 7:30a and had 760 cals so far! I haven't eaten this much since surgery! Is this normal? I have an ulcer and I'm so freaked out that it perforated or something. I dunno if this surgery was good for me! My anxiety is about off the hook! I worry too much about everything! Lol.
jodimc 117 Posted January 16, 2013 I did it guys!!!!! 700 calories, 61g Protein (my nut only requires 60), and will be at 32oz of Water before bed. Water could be better, but this is my best day so far. Not to mention my potassium symptoms are gone and I've successfully completed 2 days of nursing school. (Was terrified of failing due to not feeling well) AND I got my first THREE iv attempts in the first try. I'm amazing 7 txsmile100, Vicki Loichinger, formykids and 4 others reacted to this

OleHippieGal 275 Posted January 16, 2013 I drink lactaid fat free milk. I love it. Its not like a skim milk or anything. I was always a milk drinker till i became lactose intolerant several years ago. Glad i came across Lactaid i was scared at first. But its good. The only soy product i can drink is the Silk dark chocolate milk. 90 calories. Going to put my unflavored Protein mix in it to see if it mixes well.
