maryrevoir 1 Posted June 10, 2013 Just had my 6 month checkup. My labs were great, doc is pleased with weight loss! I agree with the stories about clothes shopping, I always go to the big section first then I realize its not gonna work! I could spend hours shopping because my brain doesn't comprehend my weight loss! So annoying! The clothes I have now are huge again and I dread spending money on new clothes, I guess I should try a thrift shop but would be embarrassed to go! I don't know what to do, maybe I should just get over it! Guess I'm just extremely shy!!! Hw 273 sw 250 cw
122812 2 Posted June 10, 2013 Hi! This is my first time posting in this forum. I had RNY 12-28-12 and my HW was 272 and I am currently 197 and my goal weight is 135. I have been exercising regularly since the surgery and I even ran a half marathon last Sunday. I went from a size 24 to a size 16 but am Concerned because my weight loss has almost stopped over the last month. Has anyone else who has been an avid exerciser still had problems with slow weight loss? Any advice?
OleHippieGal 275 Posted June 10, 2013 Has anyone tried this for a meal? I just found them at Walmart. I say meal because its 300 calories. 20 carbs i know thats high. But so does some yogurts. And yogurt is a snack. It taste good really cold, no after taste. Could be made into ice cream i think if you want it thicker.

Has anyone else who has been an avid exerciser still had problems with slow weight loss? Any advice? I stopped losing weight for almost a month. But then I started losing again. I think our bodies eventually some recoup time from loss. But I'm not sure. I'm back to losing as I said though. Watch how you clothes start fitting during that month I had actually dropped a size even though I wasn't losing on the scale.< /p> Gen :-) 12/15/

Better $3-4 per pair then $20+ to not be worn by you after you drop from that size. Gen :-) 12/15/
jls2012 41 Posted June 12, 2013 I have not posted with my December friends in a while I have been doing good- 6 month check up next week. Down about 73 pounds. Last weekend I tried on a pair of jeans and a size 10 fit me!!!!!! I almost fell over...lol! When I started 6 months ago I was wearing a 18/20 in pants. I was so excited I paid the $30 for a pair of pants I know I will not be able to wear for long!!! I am so eager to get to single digits. People at work tell me I look like a completely different person now if I could figure out how to post a pic I would hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the new you!!!
