Cyn 21 Posted March 22, 2013 Had an ultrasound on Tuesday! I've got gall stones. My Gallbladder has to come out!!! I don't want to go back in again. I'm so bummed. I am so sorry, I actually had my gallbladder out several years ago emergency surgery, it was not too bad, but being so close to another abdominal surgery might be more painful, but better now than later after your completely healed than have to reopen, please let me know how you fair, hopefully this will be all and you will be ready to go for the summer Cyn-shakiraa Dos 12-17-12 1 Nicole K reacted to this

one4ozzie 434 Posted March 23, 2013 Everyone is doing such an amazing job! I don't post much' date=' but I love to read! 3/19 was my 3 month anniversary. I had my group nutrition appt., and was given the ok to go on to the lifetime eating plan. My doctor and program allow carbs, my always make Protein the priority. I'm down 47lbs since surgery and 67lbs since I started the journey. I have never felt better!!! I'm afraid to give up my Protein Drinks (2x a day). I don't think it would be possible to get all my protein in without them. Have any of you stopped with the protein drinks? [/quote'] I haven't and don't think I could eat enough to get the protein in otherwise. I have at least 1 and 1/2 shake a day to make up for the protein. one4ozzie 434 Posted March 23, 2013 I am not good my blood pressure and pulse are really low they can't figure it out' date=' I will need to get a holter monitor to see whats going on so I can't excersise I had a bad fall, passed out and not due to dehydration, so im struggling my surgeon and nut have not been diet focused due to all the complications, I have really learned from all of you guys! so thank you all! so I feel I have made so many mistakes mainly eating carbs and not lost as much as I should have, but trying not to beat myself up too much because 55 since surgery and 65.5 total is still a fair amount, but feel like I will.loose the honeymoon phase and not hit goal, because along with this having prednisone munchies Omg :(trying so so hard right now to stay within calories is the hardest. But I am so.glad everyone is doing great! Cyn-shakiraa Dos 12-17-12[/quote'] Sorry to hear of you health issues. 55 since surgery is what I lost at 3 month mark so you're doing great. I hope you can get well and get off that prednisone so those munchies go away. Gen :-) 12/15/

one4ozzie 434 Posted March 23, 2013 I haven't touch a carb other than what's in the fruit. I keep going low on potassium do Dr said to eat a banana a day. I read that tomatoes are good for potassium as well, so I think I'll start eating the instead. Bananas are so high in carbs, I never realized it. I think I know why at a stall. I think I'm deficient in a couple Vitamins. Calcium for one. So I started eating yogurt again. I still eat the cheese sticks and can't see getting tired of eating them. I do get milk w my Special K Protein in the morn. Then I make a shake and leave for work. Half hour later I drink my shake or If I go to work out, I save the shake for after. I do have to say though earlier I ate a maraschino cherry and 3 hours later I had cramping in my tummy and I think my system was flushed completely out from it. Never want that to happen again. Ugh :-( Gen :-) 12/15/

jls2012 41 Posted March 23, 2013 They did robotic surgery and removed my gallbladder Wednesday! Im feeling ok- sore it was only one incision in my belly button which was nice but I sure have been sore. Planning in going back to work on Monday. Can't lift over 10 pounds until I follow up and I have been resting- trying to give my body time to heal. 1 one4ozzie reacted to this
