Nicole,

How many calories are you eating a day? Can u give an idea of what you eat in a day? The tiny loss I had is back and after 2 weeks, from seeing the nut, I'm in the no weight loss category still. I eat enough salad for a whole hutch of rabbits!! Still 600 or less calories a day. That nut visit cost me $75. Grrrr. I am so proud for you!!

Did anyone say they tried coffee and drank it? I got that folgers 1/2 the caffeine that i want to drink. Going to try it in the morning. I dont put sugar in it. I only use that sugar free Creamer

I've had Decaf quite a few times. I accidentally forgot to order decaf once and it made me really hyper. No tummy troubles but I felt buzzed hahaha

Are u getting in enough Protein

The nut said not to worry about protein and put me on high Fiber diet very restrictive plan.

Be- oatmeal or yogurt

Lunch- lots of greens with protein/ fish , chicken or Beans - 2 oz

Dinner- cooked veggie and same protein 3 oz.

2 snacks- raw veggie with yogurt dip or 1/2 piece of fruit.< /p>

That's it. Didn't do anything really for weight loss Been on it for 2 weeks and no different from pushing the protein.

Mi2, I know everybody and every doctor is different but my doc says to eat at least 600 calories per day (600-900). He also advises against salad because it takes up valuable pouch space that could be filled with good Protein. I started losing better (still not great) when I followed that advice, made sure I was getting at least 60g protein and 48 oz Water. I don't eat any bread, potatoes, or Pasta per his instructions. Basically protein (75% of my food) and vegetables (25% of food). When I can do that, I lose. Just some thoughts. Good luck! So sorry you are frustrated.

Well the nut said to stop worrying about protein and then have me a high Fiber plan which was 600 cal and mainly salad with 2 or 3 oz of protein some yogurt and 1/2 piece of fruit for Snacks. Nothing else. Well. I didn't lose on that and that dropped my cals 200 a day from what I was eating. They said no more Liquid Protein or Protein Powder. All reg food. I'm eager for any suggestions.

This is definitely a process. I have had a few stalls myself. I was losing like crazy in the beginning but now its just a pound or two here and there. We just have to be patient and trust that it's gonna pay off. Be encouraged

Thank you!

I average 800-900 calories a day. 81 grams protein!

I have a Protein Shake in the morning 32g of Protein. I add fruit too. Strawberries or peaches (frozen). I don't have this until 8:50 am. I drive a school bus at 6:40 am til 8:40 am. I drink 1/2 on the way to the gym. I walk 45 min on treadmill. I bring Water with me but don't drink until 1/2 hour in. I finish my shake in car after I get out.

I only started doing any exercise until 3 weeks ago. Absolutely nothing prior to that. I go 3 days a week.

When I get home from the gym, I have some sort of a snack. Package of nuts or a Greek yogurt.

I head on the bus at 11:15 again and bring water with me. I'm home by 12:45.

I eat lunch 1/2 small chili from Wendy's or turkey deli meat with cheese rolled in a lettuce leaf with mayo. Water 1/2 hour after.

I head out on the bus at 1:50 again and bring nuts and water. I eat the nuts at 3:00.

I get home at 3:50. I make something for dinner at 5. chicken, mashed cauliflower, or ground beef scrambled with melted cheese and tiny bit of potato. Sm Salad with grilled chicken.

At 8 I have another protein shake. And water in between all of this.

Hope this helps. And I just started salad stuff a week ago. I have no issues. Also, when I eat, the protein is eaten first. Then anything else after.

Thanks for sharing. That's the same stuff I was doing before seeing the nut. I'm wondering if I should just go back to pre surgery plan. I was at least losing then.

Are you exercising at all? Sometimes it helps getting metabolism going. I know stalls are frustrating, but I'm sure inches are disappearing. Keep your chin up, it will come off. :)

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
