Oh my gosh and hour & 45 mins! woah baby!! haha. I think I'm going to try 30 mins cardio (treadmill) and 30 mins weights.

A couple years ago I was in an Aerobics class that did a mixture f Turbo Kick' date=' Zumba, and Step exercises and I love it, but the gym I belong to (Planet Fitness) doesn't offer group classes so it's all on me now to make sure I do it right!

Best of luck with a speedy recovery, Gen! You'll get back on that treadmill soon enough :)[/quote']

PLanet Fitness is mine too.

Okay I had a NSV today. My size 24w jeans are way way too big. So I went to get another pair same brand (gloria Vanderbilt). I took 22's and 20's into dressing room. The 22's fit. The waist was a teeny bit loose. I put the 20's on and they fit like a glove. I was doing the happy dance, I couldn't believe it. What a great feeling. A great ending to an awesome day! :)

Sounds like we have the same work out plan. I also go to planet fitness. They hold group classes of 5. Haven't tried it yet

RNY friends- I have to share a fun new food product I stumbled on today! They're called Coco Pop Cakes, and they're so yummy! They're like a rice cake, sort of, but they're airy and flavorful. They have pretty much no nutritional value (1g Protein, 4g carbs, 0g fat each) but they provide an excellent crunch & they're a good vehicle for spreading on laughing cow cheese (of FF cream cheese), fruit preserves, or plain. On their website www.cocofoods.com you can find where they're sold and there are recipe ideas. You can buy online too, but in bulk. I hope you're all abe to find these because they are wonderful for when you need bread or crunch, but they dissolve like a cheeto without the guilt!

Lol I just asked about the term NSV on my fitness pal I didn't know what it meant either. Congrats on the pants it is a wonderful feeling when my 24s looked terrible and wouldn't stay up I went shopping too to my amazement I went to a 18 and then a week later I wish I would have tried the 16 so I put on a belt and today when I put them on ...I think I'm ready for a new pair again I def love the NSVs cause the scale hasn't been giving me much love. On another note does anyone know how many mcg of Biotin you are supposed to take daily to help with Hair loss?

I am so discouraged today! I will be 8 weeks post op on Monday and the scale never moves! I have only lost 37 lbs and only 9 lbs in the last month. I'm exercising daily and have a personal trainer. I eat or drink 60-70 g of Protein daily and always healthy options. I just don't understand how I can go from eating a lot of food that was seriously not healthy and never exercising to how I am now and the weight stays on!! I seriously feel defeated like I have every single other time I have failed at this weight loss thing...I just want to cry. Please...anyone...I need some advice or something today...nobody in my life truly gets what this is like but you all do...

Keep doing what your doing....you often lose inches when the weight slows down.9 lbs a month is over 100lbs in a year. Keep the faith.

I read on here 5000 mcg. I haven't started taken it yet as doctor just released me to stop crushing meds! Hooray! So I will go to Walmart today to buy some. :)

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

Am feeling this right now. My surgery date is 4/1. Sign the consent tomorrow. I feel like I overloaded myself with too much info, too many opinions. Got to the point where I was wondering if I should do this. Then I thought of my reasons for taking this step and that settled my nerves. Still get moments of doubt but am striving forward. Am just going to follow my book from the surgeon. Joined this because I was told by my dietician that I should do this for support
