msixkiller 96 Posted December 16, 2012 I've had diarrhea since surgery' date=' so no poop fears here. Just called my surgeon because I have a low grade fever, elevated heart rate, and heart palpitations. This is some what normal for me after a major trauma, my body always spazzes out. He wants me to come in, in the morning for an EKG. He thinks I'm fine though.[/quote'] Praying for good results for you.

jls2012 41 Posted December 16, 2012 Just wanted to share my journey with everyone so far. My surgery was Dec.3rd and everything went really good. I had a good amount of pain the day of and started feeling better each day. I came home on the 5th and I was feeling great On post-op day 4 and 5 - I started to have some pain in my back on the left side. My doc wanted me to go in to have it checked and I had pneumonia I was treated with IV antibiotics and given 2 liquid antibiotics to take at home. The pain in my back was pretty intense for about a week. I am feeling wonderful now I am so glad that I made this choice for a healthier me and every day I am feeling better and better. Even tho I had a rough start and know that there will be more rough Patches to come- I am so excited about the new me :) (if any of you guys start having the pain in your back in the rib area-please call your doc and have it checked!) I am starting to walk more and more and I am starting to get my liquids and protien in like I should. I wish everyone luck and hope you all have a speedy recovery and are feeling as good as I am 3 mrsblues, one4ozzie and momlambert reacted to this
jodimc 117 Posted December 17, 2012 So I'm supposed to get in 2 shakes + 64oz of fluids a day. Right now I'm getting in 2 shakes + 40oz of fluids. That isn't absolutely terrible is it? I've tried so hard to get in the last 24oz and I just can't do it yet. I'm 4 days post op. 1 mrsblues reacted to this

Does your bariatric center have an on call doc? I'd try calling them first because maybe there is a reason you didn't get the loritab first
jodimc 117 Posted December 17, 2012 You should be fine with the lortab.
mrsblues 81 Posted December 17, 2012 Glad to hear that our more recent December dates are doing so well....So glad you are on the losers bench, but don't forget to get up and walk! I'm returning to work tomorrow and after the tragedy in CT can't wait to see MY kids (students) and tell them how much I missed them all. Bittersweet homecoming, but looking so forward to it! Stay healthy and keep healing everyone! 2 snow25 and dhalpine reacted to this
