stellar313 26 Posted December 7, 2012 HELP!!! I have gained weight since surgery..they say cause the fluids and aunt flow..but is that true a paradoxal (sp) affect with a lot of meds..am I having one with this surgery.. I started my period 2 days after surgery (it was early) . I weighed myself the next morning and I was up 8 lbs from the morning of surgery. It took my the first week to get back to my preop weight. Definitely a combo of all the IVF they gave me and my period!

SydneyAyrn 2 Posted December 7, 2012 I did not gain weight after surgery. I am down 7 pounds from my day of surgery weigh in. Luckily I didn't get attacked by Aunt Flow. Mirena has all but killed my period 1 stellar313 reacted to this

You're going to pureed foods already? My diet guidelines are Clear liquids for 3 days then full liquids for 2 weeks (cream Soups, Tomato juice, pudding etc) -then- pureed- foods, (Mashed tatoes, baby food consistancy ANYTHING, oatmeal, grits, etc...) Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk every doctor is different I suppose. As far as pureed food goes, check out the baby section. Stage 1 and 2 are good consistancy for that phase of the diet. That'll give you variety. Also oatmeal with Protein powder, cream of wheat, tuna pureed, pureed Beans with avocado, etc.
